3 Key Fantasy Football Stats For Every NFL Week 3 Matchup

There are many tough decisions, but not many are tougher than whether you should start or fade a player for Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS). This is to hopefully help you make decisions easier than harder. Read up, and enjoy three fantasy football stats to know from each NFL Week 3 game!

Fantasy Football Stats For Every NFL Week 3 Matchup

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have allowed a QB to score more than 20 fantasy points in both games this season. The Steelers QBs have not scored more than 15 in the last five regular season games.

Najee Harris averaged 139.5 rushing yards and one touchdown in both games against the Browns last season.

Nick Chubb has played in seven games against the Steelers and he has only scored one total touchdown against them.

New Orleans Saints vs Carolina Panthers

Michael Thomas has not gone over 70 yards in a game this season, but he has scored a touchdown. Since last season, the Panthers have allowed 15 touchdowns to WRs, with seven of them going to WRs that did not have 70 yards.

Christian McCaffrey is on a current three-game streak of scoring a touchdown against the Saints.

The Saints defense and Panthers defense are two of the nine teams to not have an interception yet this season. This is the only matchup this week to feature both defenses not having an interception yet.

Houston Texans vs Chicago Bears

The Texans have allowed the most running back rushing yards in the first two weeks this season, and any RB to have 15+ carries has ran for at least 75 yards. Good thing for David Montgomery, as he is on a six-game streak of having 15 or more rushing attempts.

The Texans have allowed a WR that has 10 or more targets to have more than 120 receiving yards in both games this season. Sadly, Justin Fields has not targeted a WR 10+ times in his NFL career.

After a disappointing start to the season, Dameon Pierce saw 15 rushing attempts in Week 2. In the last three games the Bears have allowed an RB to have 15 + rushing attempts, they have allowed them to go over 100 yards.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have allowed the opposing QB in their last three games to have 2+ touchdowns and no interceptions. Patrick Mahomes is on a current five-game streak of having that stat line.

In four straight games, the Colts have allowed a less than 100-yard WR to score more than 15 PPR fantasy points.

The Chiefs have not allowed an RB to run for 40 yards this season. However, they have allowed an RB to score more than 15 PPR fantasy points.

Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for over 250 yards in both games this season. Meanwhile, the Bills have not allowed a 250-yard passer in six straight games.

Jaylen Waddle has scored five touchdowns in his past three games. Since last year, the Bills have only allowed six touchdowns to WRs.

Josh Allen has thrown for multiple touchdowns in every game against the Dolphins in his career.

Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings

The Lions defense has allowed 65 points this season, which is tied for second-most. Also, the Lions have allowed 27+ points in four straight games.

Amon-Ra St. Brown has caught a touchdown in six straight games. He has also caught 8+ receptions in eight straight games. Three of the last four WRs that were targeted 8+ times against the Vikings have eclipsed 100 receiving yards, while two of them have caught a touchdown.

The Lions have allowed the most touchdowns to RBs this season, with four. In the last three matchups with the Lions, Dalvin Cook has scored five total touchdowns.

Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots

In the last three non-divisional games, the Patriots have not allowed a WR touchdown. Also, they have not allowed a non-divisional WR to score more than 15+ PPR fantasy points in the past seven games.

Lamar Jackson has scored 25+ fantasy points in the two games he has played against the Patriots.

Since 2021, the Patriots have only allowed one TE to have over 75 receiving yards. Mark Andrews has not gone over 75 receiving yards against the Patriots in his career (two games).

Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Jets

Garrett Wilson is one of 10 WRs to have 20+ targets this season and a touchdown in both games. The Bengals haven’t allowed a WR with nine or more targets to go over 75 yards and score a touchdown in the past three games.

Joe Flacco has thrown for exactly 307 passing yards in both games this season. The Bengals haven’t allowed a 307+ yard passer since Week 13 of 2021.

Joe Burrow’s 16.6-point performance last week was his fourth-lowest outing since 2021. The Jets have not allowed a starting QB to score less than 16.6 points in 17 straight games.

Las Vegas Raiders vs Tennessee Titans

Derek Carr has thrown for under 300 yards in eight straight games. The Titans have allowed a 300-yard passer in four of their last seven games.

The Raiders have not allowed an RB to have 65+ rushing yards in three straight games.

In the last three games, the Titans have allowed a 70+ receiving yard WR to score a touchdown. Also, in those three games, the WR has scored a 25+ yard touchdown.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Commanders

Jahan Dotson is tied for second in receiving touchdowns, with three. The Eagles have allowed two WR touchdowns this season, which is tied for 11th-most.

Carson Wentz has thrown an interception in his last three games. The Eagles are tied for fourth in interceptions this year, with four.

Dallas Goedert has seen 6+ targets in five of his last seven games and has gone over 80 receiving yards for four of those games.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Los Angeles Chargers

In the last five games, a Chargers WR not named Keenan Allen has scored 15 or more PPR points. The Jaguars have allowed the 11th-most points to WRs in the first two games this season.

The Jaguars are tied for the most interceptions in the league, with five. Justin Herbert has thrown an interception in three of his last five games.

In the last three games that James Robinson has 11 or more rushing attempts, he has scored a rushing touchdown. The Chargers have not seen an RB this season with more than 11 rushing attempts.

Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals

The Rams are on a seven-game winning streak when they travel to Arizona against the Cardinals. There has been only two games since last season, including playoffs, where Cooper Kupp did not have 6+ targets or 65+ receiving yards. Both times were against the Cardinals. Although, in one game last year, the Cardinals did allow Cooper Kupp to have 13 receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown.

The Cardinals are the only team to allow more than 600 passing yards and have no interceptions this season.

The Rams have not allowed an RB to score more than 10 PPR fantasy points. Also, they are one of seven teams to not allow an RB to score this season.

Atlanta Falcons vs Seattle Seahawks

The Falcons, in both games this season, have allowed two different WRs to score more than 15 points in PPR fantasy football leagues.

Kyle Pitts has totaled two receptions for 19 yards in back-to-back games. That makes it three straight games where Pitts has not gone over five PPR points.

The Seahawks are one of three teams to not have over 100 rushing yards with their RBs in the first two games this season. The Falcons have allowed the 12th-fewest rushing yards to RBs this season.

Green Bay Packers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers have allowed the least amount of points scored this season, with 13. The Buccaneers defense has scored the same amount of touchdowns as they have allowed (1).

The last time the Buccaneers started a game without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin was Week 16 of the 2021 season. The WR group went for a total of 13 receptions for 181 yards and zero touchdowns. The top two WRs in that group, Antonio Brown and Cyril Grayson, are not on the team anymore.

The Buccaneers have only allowed one RB rushing touchdown in the last seven regular season games. The combo of A.J. Dillon and Aaron Jones have combined for six rushing touchdowns in their last seven regular season games.

San Francisco 49ers vs Denver Broncos

The 49ers have not allowed an RB to score more than 15 PPR fantasy points in their last seven games. Meanwhile, both Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon have only scored one game over 15 PPR points in their past six games.

The Broncos have not allowed an RB to score more than 10 PPR points this season. They also did this in the first three weeks of the 2021 season.

Jerry Jeudy suffered a rib injury on Sunday and might miss this game. In the seven games that Jeudy missed last season, Courtland Sutton averaged 15.7 PPR fantasy points, which is barely higher than this season’s average of 15.4 Points.

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants

The Cowboys have not allowed a QB to throw over 250 yards and score more than 20 fantasy points in their last three games. Daniel Jones has not done either of those in his last five games.

Ezekiel Elliott has scored six total touchdowns in his last four games against the Giants.

The Giants have not allowed a WR to score more than 13.3 PPR fantasy points in the last 3three games. In the two games Cooper Rush has been the starter for the Cowboys, five WRs have scored more than 13.3 PPR fantasy points.
